Newspaper article: Coxswain Washed Aboard. 1937
From the Berwick Advertiser. Holy Island lifeboat called out in a storm; ‘Milburn’ launched and overturned in heavy seas. Coxswain John Markwell washed overboard but was hauled aboard. Second Coxswain R. Henderson was also slightly injured and damage was sustained by the boat. It made for safety in Seahouses harbour. The crew was: J.Markwell; R. Henderson; James Singleton; G. Kyle; H. Walker; Robin Henderson; H. Douglas;R. Kyle and J. Stevenson.
