Records the sale of one ridge of arable land lying between Crossgate (bottom end of Fenkle Street, near the market place) and the ground called Shadwater, reciting previous owners Thomas Hogg and George Peate then Thomas Thomson, who sold to Henry Day. Also a waste housestead called Brunthouse together with a half croft of land on its north side.
