Copies of Title deeds to lands on Holy Island known as Coldingham Walls and neighbouring land. 1824-1847
A Will and an Indenture of lease from Deed Bundle Ref: NRO 683/2/75-80. Two pieces of garden ground devised by the Will of Mary Selby, situated in an area known as the Middle Sheet, lying on the west side of the main road into the village, were inherited by her nephew James Robert Roddam Lilburn. The rest of the Middle Sheet was part of the lands known as Coldingham Walls, owned by the Dean and Chapter of Durham and leased to the Duke of Northumberland.
