Will of Miss Mary Selby; 24 November 1824
Leaves a piece of ground, and a house, stable and 2 ‘gardens’ to the use of her sister Phillis Lilburn. Following Phillis’s death the ground would pass to her son Selby Lilburn and the house, stable and 2 gardens to his brother James Robert Roddam Lilburn. Also mentions their sister Sarah Lilburn. Annotation: the testator died on 19 March 1842 and was buried at Holy Island with Probate granted to James R.R. Lilburn at Durham 19 July 1842. Original doc. Ref:NRO 683/2/75.
