Term of 15 years commencing 12 May 1836. Annual rent of £16. The Broadyard was the area where the Winery, the Crossman Hall and St. Cuthbert’s Presbyterian church now stand. The Bakehouse possibly stood on the site of the latter. Includes the proviso that John Bell insures the premises against fire for at least £100, paying the annual premiums throughout the term.
