This was the replacement of the Grace Darling II by the Lizzie Porter. The Lifeboat House was rebuilt in 1880s and is situated near the shore . opposite St Cuthbert’s Isle. A party of onlookers stand to one side including 3 women in Edwardian dress, a man and 2 children
