Owned by Tweedmouth brewers Sibbit,Dickson & Co. by 1840; tenant James Brigham. Subsequent licencees were Robert Straughan; Ralph Wilson; George Brigham; his daughter Elizabeth Burns Brigham; her nephew Sydney James Luke; his brother George Luke; George Douglas Rollo Moody.
